Swedens Largest Energy Experiment
E.ON one of the Sweden largest energy providers created one of the Sweden largest energy saving experiment. They recruited 10000 participants and gave them a mobile app and connected to their home that monitors their electricity consumption in real time.
In course of one year they visualize their energy consumption in five different ways. They also built a larger campaign, they created a site where everyone can follow their progress. The result showed that 40% of the participants saved an average do 8.14% energy and 22% of the participants reached the goal by saving an average of 14.88%.
